4 yearly review of modern awards - common issue - Part-time employment and Casual employment - Rail Industry Award 2010 - correction.
A. The determination issued by the Full Bench on 12 December 2017 [MA000015 PR598504] is corrected as follows:
1. By amending the dollar figure amounts found in item A.3 at clause 23.1 Shift Work Penalties as follows:
“23.1 Shift Work Penalties
(a) For each hour worked on early morning shift or afternoon shift an employee will be paid $2.82.
(b) For each hour worked on night shift,an employee will be paid $3.35.
(c) For each hour worked on permanent night shift,an employee will be paid $6.36.”
B. This determination comes into operation from 1 January 2018. In accordance with s.166(5) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this item does not take effect until the start of the first full pay period that starts on or after 1 January 2018.
