Variation on the Commission’s Own Motion
HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY (GENERAL) AWARD 2020
MELBOURNE,1 JUNE 2022
Variation on the Commission’s own motion –changes to the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992 –ambiguity or uncertainty.
A. Further to the statement issued by the Fair Work Commission on 2 May 2022 [ FWC 992] and the decision issued on 1 June 2022 [ FWC 1379],the above award is varied as follows:
1. By deleting clause 27.2(b) and renumbering clause 27.2(a) as clause 27.2.
2. By updating the cross-references accordingly.
B. This determination comes into operation on 1 July 2022. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 1 July 2022.
